Crotched Mountain Night Skiing / Midnight Madness
For some added excitement, try night skiing at Crotched! I have been skiing here at night before and it is definitely a fun experience to be under the stars. They offer a “Midnight Madness” option for the super adventurous. You can ski from 8 pm-midnight during select times. They have fire pits, DJs, and giveaways that add to the fun nightlife vibe. Crotched Mountain Snowmaking / Trails / Lessons
Snowmaking
Crotched Mountain’s 100% snowmaking ability helps to carry it through some of the unpredictable stretches of natural snow. The day we went in late February, it felt like spring skiing but we had a blast and most of the trails were open. You can tell from the pictures that the surrounding countryside was pretty void of snow. It is still special to view the New Hampshire countryside from the top of a ski mountain.
Crotched Mountain’s use of fan guns and locally sourced renewable energy show an impressive commitment to doing its part to reduce its carbon footprint.
