Tour the Monadnock Region
I hope this tour of the Monadnock Region brightens your day and gives some of you a break from the concerns and challenges in the news cycle these days.
Posting on a travel blog that promotes New Hampshire is a challenge with all that is going on. After giving it some thought, I realized that I still believe in the mission of “New Hampshire Live Free and Explore! and more than ever, it is needed. The health and economic impacts are real and if this blog in some way helps to promote New Hampshire on the other side of it all, then it will have succeeded in its mission.
While I am still a newbie with the GoPro, I did have the urge to jump in the car and test it out again. An idea to take a road trip through the Monadnock Region and capture some of it for this post seemed like a responsible way to explore. With a loose route in mind, I figured I would let the road speak to me. The day would consist of taking one little adventure at a time.
Rather than write a lot about the trip, I thought I would let the pictures and video tour speak for themselves. While I didn’t make it to every town or city, I hope that it is enough to entice you to put the region on your to-do list and to pick out your own adventure!
Mount Monadnock
Mount Monadnock would continually make itself known throughout the day which seemed to validate the trip and its title. Nowhere was it more pronounced than at the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge! I would list it as another of New Hampshire’s gems!
